Hello! My name is Alisa Kirk and my maiden name is Purdie, hence "Purdie Pictures." I have always had a passion for photography and have been taking portraits for over 25 years. I am also a high school teacher, so I spend a lot of time with teens, and I enjoy capturing those "real" moments that not everyone catches.  I love trying new and interesting ideas and techniques to make my clients happy. I teach photography, yearbook, and Sports Medicine at a small high school, so my schedule is very busy, and doesn't leave much time for photography lately, but I do still take portraits and wedding photography when I have the time. 

I am blessed to have the opportunity to take picture of the athletic events at my school and post most of those on our yearbook website. We do sell those pictures and, just as I do with my own business, we make an effort to keep our prices low so that everyone can afford a picture that they want.

I also enjoy taking pictures of nature and I find beauty in the world around me.  I have become a scuba diver and I and enjoy practicing my photography skills underwater. Some of my nature and underwater photography can be found in my galleries, along with some of my other photography.
